Whoever invented it, it does them no credit whatsoever.
A way of making a quick buck off the Peter Pans of this world.

Very interesting! Like others, I would have guessed it was American in origin.

How about paintball or lasertag? Are they Japanese or American?

No idea on those two. Paintball is way to messy and laser tag is like the miles gear we used years ago,m unreliable. I got into airsoft for use as low cost, safe, non lethal training with my work. Fell in love with the strategy and activity. It also allowed me to shoot my mates without the side effects like, death

I just returned from the range. There was a fire safety inspection in our offices today, so, rather than sit idly on our asses while the inspectors do their work, I took all the guys not on patrol or otherwise busy, to the range, and we spent the rest of the time playing strikeball. May as well sharpen our combat skills, since there was nothing else to do, right?

We practiced window entry with ropes

The range management, good people, put these damaged armored vehicles with realistic corpses in and on them inside the "war zone"

Would scare the soul out of a inexperienced person...

What a waste of a day that could have been spent running along the river bank.

With all my respect to you... That would have been quite boring.
