I'll try to find you some sources. A lot of it, right now, is more of a mentality shift I think, not necessarily born into action yet. But understanding capitalism as a global ill, etc. Rather than seeing the labor movement as part and parcel of the West's struggle against communism.

I didn't mean a 'citation' per se, rather I was curious about an example.

Patrick Buchanan just doesn't seem to get the fact that the Military-Industrial Congressional Complex/Deep State REQUIRES enemies including Iran, North Korea, Russia, and China.

He is trying to talk common sense where common sense is totally irrelevant and Doublethink/Groupthink is operative:

Taking Buchanan seriously on any issue is highly questionable. The man is seriously toxic.

But to be fair, the MIC doesn't need external enemies at all. Indeed, it doesn't have any. Qua Orwell, they just make shit up and invent enemies whenever needed. US media, US government and US citizenry cheers.

Yup. Things haven't changed since Twain wrote The War Prayer.

The Pentagon is apparently trying again to purchase a Gurkha-type army in the Mid-East:

Josh Billings addressed a problem with mercenaries with his comment that "Money can buy you a good dog, but it won't buy the wag of its tail."
