2. Alexander Mackenzie (Liberal) 10
3. Sir John Abbott (Liberal-Conservative) 10
4. Sir John Thompson (Conservative) 10
5. Sir Mackenzie Bowell (Conservative) 10

Despite being appointed the first female PM of the country, her slanderous attack ads making fun of Jean Chrétien's speaking disability caused by a stroke some years earlier.

I've also taken the liberty to amend the spelling of our only PM with an accent in his name!

As you well know, it is my eccentricity to ignore all accent thingies!

Old floppy jowls gets a demerit for bowing to American MIC pressure and scrapping the AVRO Arrow, nay, scrapping the manufacture of that great invention and then burning the plans and destroying all prototypes ever built! What an idiot!

This is quickly turning into a consensus of two Michael, but I'll continue to play if you will.

79 days - what can I say, John. You fucked the Canadian taxpayer as much as you could in that time to have a lasting effect from a then very outdated P.E.T. You were a loyal bitch to him though, I'll say that much. This is the first time I can remember paying attention to politics by the way.

Well, two is enough for a game.

Can't very well complain about a lack of knowledge or popular interest in such an obscure topic as the history of Canadian Prime Ministers. Most 'normal' people might perhaps know of only two or three names on the list (Harper, Chretien and Trudeau probably).

I've always considered John Turner to be symbolic of a very typical old school style political leadership that has mostly faded away now (thankfully). He was quite handsome, athletic, charming, aristocratic, intelligent, went to all the right schools, well-connected to the 'old boys' network and even a Rhodes Scholar to boot.

He of course had no idea what he wanted to do as PM and had no vision other than that he wanted to be the PM. He could easily have fit into the leadership of either party at anytime without hurting any of his political convictions for he had none of those at all.

Besides all that, I'll double-down John Turner with you for running the 1987 campaign against NAFTA. How can you call yourself a Canadian liberal or Liberal and run against NAFTA???

Its not like the party hasn't famously stood on the 'free-trade' platform for about a century or so...
