Correct.

If you're not familiar with Suriname it's worth a look. Very interesting history, completely distinct from the rest of South America.

As for autonomous countries, aren't the First Nations in the USA a bit like that?
Every list I just found or have ever seen puts Greenland and Russia ahead of Canada as the coldest.

Oddly enough, every list also puts Antarctica first, though it isn't a country.

In other words, Antartica, Greenland, Russia, Canada, USA & Iceland seems to be the common sequence (followed by Estonia, Finland and Mongolia).

Lots of Hindi in that neighborhood. Trinidad and Tobago also have a big Hindu culture.

Comes from the importation of large numbers of indentured servants from India to the plantations after the Brits made slavery illegal.

My list is scientific

Mind you it covers 1961-1990.

I haven't a clue, so I'll just pick Egypt as a random African country.

Okay... I will not make it easy for you guys lol

Alright.

This place

is a universal resort for Russians.

It features great beaches in the summer season

and equally great mountain skiing resorts in the winter

It has a beautiful and ancient Orthodox monastery, an attraction for both religious and secular tourists

It is also well known an equally beautiful big lake in its mountains

as well as mountain rivers

and waterfalls, both natural and artificially made

It also has a unique cave system tourists love to explore

There is a special underground train that takes visitors down to the caves and brings them back up, a Soviet innovation

I believe it was recently modernized, with newer trains.

Stalin also had a dacha, summer residence, there

And it also has the most unique bus stops in the former USSR

haha

Final hint: this place is recognized as an independent country by Russia and a bunch of our allies. Your Western governments still consider it a part of another ex-Soviet country. And no, this is NOT Crimea.
