I really don't see how JFK and Reagan are considered Top Ten material. Both were fiscally irresponsible warmongers, obsessed with commies and both had a notable/nasty passion for black ops - hardly the kind of credentials I'd consider for a Top Ten position.

Also rather surprised to see Woodrow Wilson ranked so highly - he had wonderful ideals, but he is best known for all his political failures.

And how about Andrew Jackson at #18? Better than both Adams AND GH Bush? On what criteria one might ask!

And I suppose it really does say something significant that Ulysses Grant comes in right at the mid-way mark. He had one pretty good term and one pretty awful term. To consider him better than half of all past Presidents really doesn't say much for the quality of the bottom half of the list!

Grant really depends on how you look at his Indian and civil rights policies. He is the president that created the Justice department and it's original intent was to make sure the southern states were following 14th and 15th amendments (oh the irony). He also ended the policy of Indian removal. Overall middle of the pack sounds about right. He was a guy trying to moral, but he was also tripped up by his loyalty to his friends and probed unable to really stand up to people he liked.

Why is Truman at #6? From what I know of him he was a bit of a Trump avant-la-lettre. Is he perhaps credited with ending WWII much as Reagan is hilariously credited with bringing down the USSR? Or worse, is it because of Hiroshima and Nagasaki rather than despite those?
