Is the number up to twenty yet?

Last I heard we were at 13...

Tiger Woods, Person of the Year
only tangentially related, but cogent.

Certainly the biggest newsmaker of the year.

(but not really - what he did isn't very interesting or newsworthy - rather the media turned it into a spectacle)

Btw, we ought to rename this decade the "Decade of Delusions".

Seems like everything since 2000 has been just one big fake out to screw people.

It's been that way since the 1970s but in this decade there's been absolutely no attempt to disguise it. It seems the more rotten anything is the more money it moves upward while creating a twisted pride in the takers. That the general public couldn't see through insurers and big pharma in the health care bill manipulation is a fine example of their collective stupidity. I wonder what's next. Greed never rests.

There's always that long-standing Republican policy to turn Social Security over to Wall Street.

I notice that Tiger is in the news again - playing in his first tournament since his private life spilled out all over the tabloid pages.

Third going into in the third round of the Masters ain't too shabby for being off the tour for several months. I wonder what he's doing at night for entertainment?
