![]() This is no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention for the last twenty+ years. Sears Canada is a basketcase retailer and has been bleeding red ink for decades.
Well, they finally declared bankruptcy, closed the doors and laid off some 12,000 workers. They are out of business for good. People say creditors might be lucky to get $0.20 on the dollar. And guess what? Executives and senior managers received $2.5 million in bonuses THIS YEAR. That's just fucking amazing. Capitalism is completely dead.
